Untitled!!

Again a full circle.. this time even sooner..

Life's so unpredictable. You make some assumptions.. base your aspirations on it and the next moment it comes crashing..

People worry about small things in life.. suddenly the petty issues become all important and you base your/someone else's life's most important decision on your perception of it.

I sometimes wonder what is more important - my own individuality or my respect for my elder's decision. Most of you would say my individual feelings are more important and I feel the same way too but sometimes you get entangled in such a web that you have no choice left and out of compulsion you have to accept others decision for you. And then you who do you blame for it.. I conveniently blame our culture / ethos for it..

This westernized culture has made us so individualistic that we hardly have time to think about anyone other than us. I am talking specifically about the 25yrs around brigade.. Out of college, living with friends, a paying job and not much of responsibilities. In my opinion if you one lives this lifestyle for a long period, it becomes very difficult to attach yourself to anyone or anything. The social fabric of our culture is starting to wean off.

Never mind..

I am out of my mind I guess..

Hairat bhi hai, Gairat bhi hai.. Kya Fayda..

Since the last post lot of time has passed..

Quite a few things have happened but as things stand at the present, it's a full circle.. so soon..

I recently saw a movie which got me thinking. What is our purpose? We are born. We live. Then, we die. Basically there is no purpose. We are just sentient beings who by some random chance happen to evolve in our present form and have assumed the consciousness which we are experiencing. Life is very short. It's not to be taken too seriously. So, this takes me to the next question. How do you define consciousness? Has your particular consciousness been conscious before or will it ever be again? Dunno. Almost impossible to answer. But it amazes me.

The sheer size of this universe and your relative relevance to that. We are not even a speck.

Chalo, now let's get to a micro level. The feelings, the experience, the way of living, the fear, the allays..

When a person is born, he/she is so innocent, completely oblivious. Life's completely defined by being born in a particular setup. We say that future is uncertain, cannot be predicted but like any system the output is dependent on the input and is influenced by external events. So, basically, the life one would live would be defined by the setup in which one is born. How Stupid.

Set yourself free. This is one message which I would like to give. One should do things.. Then only, you can see the outcomes. This is much better than never doing and wondering what would have happened. When making such a decision, just think what worst could happen. And if you are willing to live with the worst then, I, guess you should do that thing..
